Used tools Cutter knife Saw Sand paper Acrylpaint Brushes Clear coat (matt) The knights tent made out of resin Step 1 You can make a rough opening with a small saw. Step 2 The cutter knife is better to work more accurate once the rough opening is finished. Step 3 After a short time the tent is open. Smooth the visible cuttings with sand paper.   Step 4 Now I start painting with grounding the model. I still use black... Step 5 Now I paint the tarpaulin with the first color. I used a dark red and a flat brush. Use the brush vertical, so you can easily paint crinkles when the color doesn't cover the grounding evenly.   Step 6 You can work out the crinkles while painting wet in wet with a lighter red or you can wait until the dark red has dryed and use the lighter red afterwards. But you should smudge the lighter red to achieve a color gradient. Step 7 Now I paint the rest of the tarpaulin with the same method I used with the red colors. First I paint with ivory or a slightly yellowish white and then with a pure white.   Step 8 You can also paint the inside if you like. Maybe you like to place a light inside the tent. Step 9 Now I paint the top and the ropes.   Step 10 Finally I cover the whole thing with clear coat (matt) and finished! We wish you a lot of fun with constructing and painting. Your team Thomarillion
